La dimora \u00e8 situata sulla collina di Monte Galletto in modo da offrire un\u2019ampia vista sul Golfo di Genova. Il progetto del Castello fu disegnato dallo stesso padrone, il capitano di Mare Enrico Alberto D\u2019Albertis, nell\u2019Ottocento.
