Castello d’Albertis: discover the house of an eccentric sea captain and its breathtaking view of Genoa
Castello d’Albertis is one of Genoa’s most appreciated house-museums. The Castle was built on the of Monte Galletto hill and offers a panoramic view of the gulf below. The project was designed by the owner himself, captain Enrico Alberto d’Albertis, in the XIX century. The tour will take you on a journey through the many halls of the Castle and the many cultures they display, thanks to a number of art pieces he collected from around the world: Mayan, Aztec and pre-Columbian artifacts from Ecuador, African weapons, Chinese lances and European halberds.
